Develops coordinates and leads the education strategy for the assigned Logan Health program (e.g. Academic Ambulatory Training Center or Organizational Development).
Conducts formal needs assessments and gap analyses to identify learning priorities.
Designs and delivers highimpact training and education using evidencebased methods and adult learning principles.
Collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to ensure training aligns with regulatory standards best practices and organizational goals.
Supports onboarding and competency development across multiple departments or learner groups.
Promotes a culture of excellence by facilitating change driving engagement and supporting continuous learning.
Evaluates program outcomes and uses data to refine education strategies and measure effectiveness.
Serves as a resource and consultant for subject matter expertise learning integration and performance improvement.
Maintains accurate documentation of program participation certifications and learning outcomes.
Coordinates special events or development initiatives such as Mock Codes HOSA outreach team building activities or JustinTime training depending on assigned program.
Participates in interdepartmental and systemwide initiatives to promote workforce readiness clinical safety and ongoing professional development.
ProgramSpecific Responsibilities (Examples include but are not limited to):
Academic Education Program:
Serves as liaison for student placement and onboarding including clinical nonclinical and observational roles.
Manages partnerships with academic institutions and HOSAaffiliated schools.
Leads student and preceptor support initiatives.
Ambulatory Education Program:
Orients clinical staff to appropriate scopes and standards.
Develops and validates specialty competencies in outpatient care settings.
Oversees the Preceptor Program to ensure onboarding consistency and quality.
Training Center Program:
Coordinates and teaches certification courses such as BLS ACLS and PALS.
Provides 1:1 coaching and stakeholder engagement for RQI.
Facilitates Mock Code simulations with clinical departments.
Professional Development / Organizational Training:
Leads new hire orientation and collaborates on nurse residency education.
Supports organizational learning through JustinTime training and team development.
Designs programs around emotional intelligence safety and workplace culture.
Must hold one 1 of the following:
Current Montana Paramedic License.
Current Montana Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
Current Montana Professional Teaching Certificate.
Experience:
Demonstrated leadership or consultation experience.
Proven ability to support and implement educational programs across diverse settings.
Certifications:
Must obtain and maintain certification in nationally recognized skills courses (e.g. BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS) within 6 months of hire.
Instructor certification requirements may vary depending on program area.

Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited program in a related field.
Experience:
5 years of clinical or professional teaching experience.

Qualifications:
Minimum of one 1 of the following required:
Current Montana Paramedic License
Current Montana Registered Respiratory Therapy License
Current Montana Professional Teaching Certificate
Bachelors or masters degree from an accredited program in related field preferred.
Minimum of five 5 years of clinical experience or professional teaching experience preferred.
Must achieve and maintain certification in nationally recognized skills courses associated with position responsibilities (e.g. BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS) within six 6 months of hire.
Instructor certification varies by work location.
Demonstrates success in consultation leadership and the ability to serve as a catalyst for change.

Job Specific Duties:
Primarily responsible for coordinating all activities related to the assigned clinical programs. Assists clinical staff to acquire maintain and/or expand unitspecific competence in clinical procedures equipment operation patient education and/or documentation.
Exhibits specialized knowledge of the assigned specialty area. Performs formal needs assessments gap analysis and collects other pertinent information to identify priority needs and outcomes. Plans and develops strategies to foster critical thinking and meets identified needs and desired outcomes.
Implements courses tools and resources to carry out strategic plans. Teaches and trains using principles of learning and effective methodologies.
Evaluates actual outcomes and program effectiveness in relation to desired outcomes.
Serves as a catalyst for change within the organization by facilitating initiation of adoption of and adaptation to change.
Assumes formal/informal consultant role by assisting individuals and groups with input feedback solutions and learning integration.

ProgramSpecific Job Duties
Academic Education Program
Serves as liaison between Academic Facilities overseeing clinical placements and orientation of students faculty residents and observers to LH.
Initiates and oversees HOSA partnerships with area High Schools oversees observers and coordinates events promoting recruitment into healthcare careers.
Leads preceptor program for student clinical and nonclinical staff including preceptor assignments and preceptor education.
Ambulatory Education Program
Orients clinical staff to appropriate scopes and standards.
Develops specialty competencies; develops and operationalizes plan to validate competence of staff.
Maintains integrity of Preceptor model and all Preceptor Program components.
Professional Development Program
Provides direct oversight of New Hire Clinical Orientation collaborating closely with Nurse Residency and Clinical Educators.
Designs and coordinates implementation of organizational required education and Just in Time education.
Training and Organization Development Program
Implements instructs and coordinates workplace violence program for organization in collaboration with other key leader stakeholders.
Develops and delivers team building activities/programs that drive organizational effectiveness leadership competencies and Emotional Intelligence initiatives.
Training Center Program
Coordinates and teaches BLS ALS PALS new and instructor courses in collaboration with Training Center Coordinator.
Provides 1:1 coaching for RQI answers employee questions and provides communication regarding RQI stakeholders.
Coordinates Mock Codes in collaboration with clinical educators in practices and LH departments.
