Job Description

MidLevel CS&CC Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for a MidLevel Commitment Scheduling & Change Commitment (CS&CC) Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) specialist for a proprietary program reporting to the Air Dominance CS&CC IP&S Manager located in Hazelwood MO.

The successful candidate prepares develops and coordinates integrated schedules and schedulerelated products to meet program and/or project requirements. In summary the successful candidate will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders in the development of integration master schedules master production schedules and detailed engineering release schedules. The successful candidate will also be a detailoriented selfstarter who is able to take requirements and execute with little direction in a fastpaced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports preparation development coordination scheduling and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Develops collects organizes and provides data and updates tasks to maintain the status of programs schedules customer and supplier commitments and compliance. Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.
  • Identifies and provides reports on performance variances project status and change information to the project team.
  • Communicate plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.
  • Performs studies analysis (trend variance impact) risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience creating integrated schedules encompassing design manufacturing equipment and resource requirements
  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in a fastpaced highvolume environment
  • Experience collaborating and working across teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Experience in integrated scheduling change management program planning project management Industrial Engineering or Business Operations
  • Experience in Open Plan Professional and/or MS Project and Milestones Professional

Additional Information:

  • This position is contingent upon award.
  • The position may require traveling up to 10 of the time.
