Responsibilities
The Advisory group is one of the most experienced investment banking teams in the industry and has been involved in some of the largest most complex transactions of the past twenty years. Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries including technology media & telecommunications energy power & utilities oil & gas industrials healthcare and real estate gaming & lodging.
PJT Partners Strategic Advisory team Madrid is seeking for an Analyst with strong analytical and writing skills who takes initiative has great attention to detail works well under pressure and has the ability to perform both independently and within teams in a boutique investment advisory firm.
Analysts will work on a wide range of transactions including acquisitions divestitures joint ventures restructurings recapitalizations private placements and leveraged buyouts. Analysts are expected to be involved in the development structuring and financing of transactions and regularly attend internal and client meetings negotiations and due diligence sessions. Analyst work will include:
Financial analysis and modelling
Drafting of client presentations
Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use
Conducting financial and other business related research
Coordinating complex and often timesensitive processes
Active involvement in client facing situations
Assistance in the of transactions
Participation in talent development efforts including recruiting
Qualifications
PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition qualified candidates will possess the following:
Bachelors Degree
12 years of experience in investment banking (M&A and capital markets)
Fluency in Spanish is required
Outstanding qualitative technical and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment
Robust organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
