Job Description

Overview

This position is responsible for assisting the RN in the provision of patient care in the Outpatient Services Unit. Participates in quality patient care delivery efficient patient flow and effective communication with health care team. Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.

  • This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Inc. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of ARMC and AHMC Inc. The employee shall support AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Centers strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including but not limited to; Customer Service Patients Rights Confidentiality of Information Environment of Care and AHMC Inc initiatives.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience

One year experience in Endoscopy Unit as a GI Lab technician required. In lieu of this experience consideration will be made for an employee with strong education and associated experiential background.

Completion of a Surgical Technology program preferred.

Proficient in word processing and order entry

Licenses/Certifications

Current BLSHCP (American Heart Association)
