Job Description

SCOPE OF ROLE

The Senior Commercial Sales Trainer position is responsible for designing implementing and overseeing comprehensive training programs that enhances the skills and performance of our sales team aligned with company strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales management and coaching and have a deep understanding of our solutions and customers as they will be responsible for all levels of sales. This role requires a dynamic strategic thinker with a passion for coaching and a proven track record in sales training and is central to the mission of upscaling our teams.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate Training Needs: Conduct assessments to identify training needs within the sales team at all levels from new hire to senior management. Ensure a deep understanding of solutions and content to educate our sellers on the most relevant solutions to align with business needs.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide expert guidance to sales management teams to conduct on coaching and mentoring to their for their sales teams to improve performance and team effectiveness. Provide oneonone coaching and mentoring to sales management as applicable.
  • Facilitation Delivery and Quality: Oversee delivery strategy of instructor led programs and ensure quality facilitation and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Audit Training Programs: Audit sales training programs to ensure they align with the companys strategies and objectives. Collaborate with Instructional Designers and Sales team members to ensure consistency in commercial training roadmaps.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of sales team members pre and posttraining to ensure the effectiveness of learning programs making datadriven adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Innovation:Maintain a deep understanding on sales techniques industry trends vendor programs sales tools and systems to bring innovative solutions that are aligned with strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in sales training and coaching preferably in a senior sales role.
  • Education: BA/BS in Business Marketing or equivalent professional experience with demonstrated results. A masters degree is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
    • Excellent communication presentation and influencing skills to lead teams.
    • Track record of delivering bestinclass training both facetoface and virtual
    • Proven experience to lead motivate and inspire teams to drive transformation at all sales levels.
    • Strong problem solving time management and organization skills.
    • Proficiency in using training and sales software and tools.
    • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
    • Flexibility to adapt with the demands of the business to align with evolving strategy.

  • Certifications:Relevant certifications in sales training or coaching are a plus.
  • Travel: <2530 global travel
