Great Plains Communications is looking for an experienced detailoriented person to fill the position of Project Manager.
Duties include:
Will demonstrate the ability to effectively apply the project management knowledge/management areas across the five project phases. Will coordinate the efforts of team members vendors thirdparty contractors and/or consultants in order to deliver the defined deliverables. Will assign projects build project teams develop plan and execute project activities and facilitate all required project communication. Will efficiently manage change and ensure high quality control throughout each projects life cycle.
Ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of MultiFamily Construction and Installation and have an MDU background.
This position will be responsible for:
Serving as the project manager for telecommunications for business solutions.
Managing the efforts of team members vendors thirdparty contractors and/or consultants to produce the defined deliverables.
Building project teams and developing planning and executing project activities.
Facilitating all required project communications in a timely manner.
Efficiently managing changes and ensuring high quality control throughout each projects life cycle.
Sets and manages client expectations and manages all required client interactions.
Develops a positive working relationship with client personnel that foster ongoing trust and positive interactions.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify their requirements and evaluates the committed deliverable(s) to ensure it meets their expectations.
Reviews final deliverables as prepared by the project team before passing to client for approval and acceptance.
Seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen ongoing client relationships.
Builds a knowledge base of each clients business organization and objectives Remains on the forefront of new and emerging project management methodologies practices tools standards etc.
Maintains at a minimum a working knowledge of GPCs Internet systems transport network CATV systems client/server systems critical corporate applications and associated technologies/architectures.
Possesses a thorough understanding of GPCs customer service/support best practices.
Attends technical training and related seminars in order to stay competent with the technologies commonly used by the company.
Provides mentoring training and all required assistance for the development of project managers in other departments.
Develops processes or acquires appropriate software tools that assist with all aspects of project planning management and reporting.
Ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of MultiFamily Construction and Installation and have an MDU background.
Must have strong communication and customer relations skills along with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects. PMP certification 34 years of previous telecommunications experience and bachelors degree is a plus.
