You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this Based Services is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at HCA Florida Westside Regional Medical Center in the Fort Lauderdale area (Plantation FL).55000 ER visits per year2.0 pphED consists of 43 beds55 hours physician coverage20 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverageEMR: Meditech Pdoc and dragon dictationApproximately 15 pediatricsAdmission rate approximately 25%Comprehensive stroke faculty with new biplaneInterventional cardiac catheterization facility24 hour in house hospitalists24 hour in house intensivistsNo floor code or consult responsibilitiesNewly Accredited EM Residency. Additional Educational opportunities with PA students medical students and podiatry residentsOccurrence Based MalpracticeIndependent Contractor 1099)Requirements: Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). Must also have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
