JOB SUMMARY:
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving stocking delivery and shipment of materials. In addition the Material Handler responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (i.e. receiving running lines and shipping) in assigned Operations facility.
Pay Range: $19.50 $26.52 based on experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be allinclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Efficiently locate & pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned production areas to maintain inventory levels for production; ability to accurately verify parts & quantities and complete BOLs to receive and/or ship material.
Licensed and can operate all material handling equipment (i.e. Standup Sitdown Combi Lancer Tugger) at assigned Operations facility.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures rules and proper 6S standards; use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment in assigned Operations facility.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures rules and proper 6S standards; follow all safe procedures and practices in assembling and testing of all models in your job function.
Conduct receiving operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One 1 year applicable position experience or an evaluated equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to become forklift certified to operate a forklift/tugger to receive and deliver parts safely and efficiently.
Ability to multitask and adapt to an everchanging environment and processes.
Must have outstanding transaction discipline being diligent with quantity accuracy making effective changes within JDE (Dodge Center Only).
Rectify inventory discrepancies monitor KANBAN cards previous experience with ERP systems and JDE (Dodge Center Only).
Effective in working crossfunctionally with various internal customer.
Two 2 or more years of applicable position experience.
