Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Sports Camp Director the Sports Camp Coach performs a variety of duties related to the teaching of sport skills and training.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills: Must have strong communication and listening skills. The ability to communicate effectively while working with people of all ages and abilities. Must have verbal skills interest and enthusiasm in the subject patience and an interest in working with diverse groups of students. Requires basic clerical skills. Knowledge of athletics and sports is preferred. Abilities: Requires ability to work well with others to accomplish the objectives of the position. Position requires flexibility a positive attitude and enthusiasm. Requires the ability to perform all aspects of the job. Requires the ability to interpret faculty instructions. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures backgrounds perspectives and abilities. Education and Experience: Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at LinnBenton Community College.
Work Schedule
Up to 20 hours a week
