Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our Renew team. In this role you will ensure that gears and related components meet strict quality standards enabling reliable performance in diverse applications. This position involves conducting detailed inspections performing root cause analyses and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to improve quality processes tailored to gearing products.
Key Responsibilities:
Precision Inspections: Examine gears gearboxes and related components to ensure compliance with dimensional material and performance specifications. Utilize specialized tools such as calipers micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspection data quality metrics and nonconformance reports specific to gearing products. Prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate gearrelated quality issues such as improper tolerances material defects or manufacturing inconsistencies. Work with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
Audit Assistance: Support internal and external audits by presenting gearing quality documentation and demonstrating compliance with industry standards such as ISO guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment particularly in gearing or precision components.
Proficiency with measurement tools and techniques relevant to gearing products including CMM and gear inspection equipment.
Familiarity with gear standards such as ISO is a plus.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
