Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Janitor to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. They will clean and maintain buildings/facilities to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
Our Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Ability to interact with staff and visitors while remaining professional polite and courteous.
Your Responsibilities:
Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
Maintains a neat and orderly janitors room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break area.
Clean the interior of buildings including floors carpet rugs windows and walls
Disinfect commonly used items like desks door handles and office tools.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Dust furniture and fixtures.
Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.
Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the facility.
Attend safety meetings and take safety courses as needed.
Coordinate work with other team members.
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing.
Must be able to lift bend stoop climb reach and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
