Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and handson Apprentice Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. In this role youll work alongside experienced technicians to learn how to install service and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing a career in HVACR to gain realworld experience and build a longterm future in the trade.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems (e.g. walkin coolers/freezers display cases chillers).
Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under supervision.
Support senior technicians during service calls both in the shop and onsite.
Maintain tools materials and job site cleanliness.
Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Attend trade school (if applicable) and complete inhouse training requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a refrigeration or HVAC program (preferred).
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in various conditions (hot cold confined spaces at heights).
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with hand and power tools.
