Job Description
Facility Technician I
Pay Rate: starting pay $ 21.00 hour
Summary:
The Facility Technician I performs handson operations including drum pumping tank farm operations and offloading of waste materials. This role ensures safe and compliant handling of materials and equipment in support of facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle drum movements unloading/loading tank farm trucks and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements.
Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections.
Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement.
Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain area compliance with permit standards.
Meet or exceed daily production goals.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
03 years of relevant experience.
OSHA 40Hour HAZWOPER certification required (or willingness to obtain).
Forklift training preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders and operate within physically demanding environments.
Basic computer use and SOP comprehension required.
Qualifications
Work Environment:
Physical role with frequent standing bending reaching and lifting.
Less than 10 travel may be required.
