Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Summer Interns to join our team across various departments. This internship is open to recent graduates and current students enrolled in 2 or 4year college programs. Its designed to provide handson experience mentorship and exposure to realworld projects that support the operations and growth of TripleS Steel. As an intern you will collaborate with experienced professionals contribute to team objectives and gain valuable insight into our industry.
Responsibilities
Assist with daytoday accounting tasks including journal entries monthly closings and preparation of financial statements
Perform general ledger account reconciliations
Support Fixed Assets and ConstructioninProgress (CIP) reviews including tracking and reconciliation
Help document Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for monthend close procedures
Reconcile bank statements and assist with account tieouts
Provide support on ad hoc tasks and special projects
Qualifications
Actively pursuing a bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field
Completion of higherlevel accounting or finance coursework prior to the internship
Strong Excel skills with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word
Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately track and manage data
Capable of resolving variances troubleshooting issues and navigating complex accounting scenarios
