Job Description

About the Role
Benore Logistic Systems Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety initiatives ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In this position you will manage compliance programs training and audits while serving as a subject matter expert in safety administration. This role requires strong leadership expertise in DOT regulations and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead the safety and compliance team to ensure daily adherence to regulations.
  • Training & Development: Develop and implement safety training programs for DOTclassified employees.
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct rootcause analysis for accident investigations and provide expert guidance.
  • Data Analysis & Compliance: Monitor incidents violations and CSA scores implementing corrective actions.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with FMCSR regulations and manage DOT random drug and alcohol testing programs.
  • Safety Audits: Oversee driver hiring standards and evaluate safety performance through audits.
  • Accident Review Board Leadership: Ensure accurate Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and lead reviews.
  • Culture of Safety: Promote safety awareness through training mentoring and communication initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor s degree and at least 3 years of experience in DOT regulations safety administration transportation or logistics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and operational management software such as TMW.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills integrity and sound business judgment.
Ability to travel up to 20 to nearby domiciles.
