Our Organization is thrilled to present a brandnew and captivating opportunity for a fulltime school psychologist for the current academic school year.
The School Psychologists will support students academic social and emotional wellbeing. In this role you will conduct assessments provide counseling and collaborate with educators families and support staff to foster a positive learning environment.
Job Description:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing various challenges.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students academic social and emotional needs.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of school psychology to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor students progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure their continued growth and development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students progress and develop comprehensive support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students academic success.
Requirements
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Active school psychology license issued by the Illinois Board of Psychology.
- Certification from the National Association of School Psychology is preferred.
- Possess at least a Masters degree or higher in an Educational Psychologyrelated field.
