Job Description
- Develop and deliver differentiated instructional materials aligned with student IEPs.
- Conduct assessments to determine academic needs and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with general education teachers support staff and families to create a cohesive learning plan.
- Monitor and document student progress providing timely reports and updates.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student achievements challenges and strategies for success.
- Support students academic behavioral and socialemotional development in the classroom environment.
Requirements
- Background in educational settings ideally with a focus on special education.
- Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree preferred from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience supporting diverse learners and creating individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Must hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement no substitute certifications accepted.
