Job Description

We are hiring an Emergency Medicine Registrar in our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Fulltime/Fixed Term
- Assessing diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions in the emergency department
- Providing immediate life support and stabilization to critically ill patients
- Conducting examinations and tests to determine the nature of patients illnesses or injuries
- Administering and managing the use of and medications
- Communicating and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of patients medical histories diagnoses and treatments
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
- Providing education and guidance to patients and their families about treatment plans and aftercare
- Participating in continuing education training programs and professional development activities to keep up to date with the latest advancements in emergency medicine
Requirements
- Candidates need to be currently registered as General Practitioners with the Irish Medical Council.
- Emergency medicine clinical experience of at least one year or at least six months of emergency medicine and six months of acute medicine
- A postgraduate degree such as MRCEM MRCPI or MRCSI would be preferred.
