Are you a data enthusiast ready to make a significant impact We are on the lookout for a talented and driven Data Science Manager to join our dynamic Group Data Science team. In this role youll have the opportunity to develop cuttingedge data science models that support decisionmaking drive automation and enhance efficiencies within our business. What youll be doing:
- Developing and delivering data science solutions using a variety of data sources
- Leading stakeholder management and issue resolution on project work and leading project delivery and development of junior Data Scientists
- Identifying sourcing and engineering data to support data science activities
- Visualizing model results and analytical outputs to a high standard
- Collaborating with other data professionals and business stakeholders
- Ensuring all work is fully documented and quality assured
- Providing data science SME support on data processes or initiatives
- Applying knowledge of machine learning and data science techniques to design effective solutions
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics computing science data science) or equivalent experience
- Experience in dealing with high volumes of data with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of a wide variety of machine learning techniques
- Proficiency in coding languages for data manipulation (e.g. SQL) and machine learning model development (e.g. Python R)
- Experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI and Tableau (beneficial but not essential)
- Experience with cloud native tooling for Azure and AWS (beneficial but not essential)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
