Purpose and role of job:
Provide leadership in maintenance planning and tracking of all equipment using a CMMS system focus on effective scheduling kitting and enhancing asset health through strategic planning.
Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
- Expert on equipment health and planning all activities on equipment in a CMMS system.
- Responsible for maintaining the CMMS system work orders which includes scheduling kitting reviewing auditing and closing out in timely fashion.
- Works collaboratively with all platforms and team members.
- Responsible for an accurate record of all equipment hierarchy parts list and history in a CMMS system.
- Coordinates with the parts room to maintain correct parts levels for kitting and planning maintenance activities.
- Uses the CMMS system for documentation and recoding all findings and improvements.
- Works with Reliability engineering to coordinate predictive inspections and planning proactive actions in a CMMS system.
- Ability to use systems to view drawings for kitting and planning.
- Maintain and report KPIs to the team.
- Perform training for support groups as needed.
- Assists in troubleshooting of all machinery issues as needed.
- Collaborate with process and maintenance to evaluate equipment performance. Plan and schedule equipment downtime to improve equipment performance.
- Participate in Department OnCall Responsibilities.
- Daily communication and participation as part of a Platform Teams.
- Participates facilitates and leads communication in group settings and/or meetings.
- Communicates with members of the support teams on asset health.
- Observes all safety rules and always uses the proper safety equipment.
- Keeps safety as the priority when making decisions. Drives a zeroloss time mentality.
Education and experience requirements:
- Minimum of three years of industrial experience or equivalent.
- Advanced mechanical knowledge of all machinery equipment and components.
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Advanced knowledge of product specifications quality specifications goals efficiency s and production.
- Proficient in MS Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to operate a CMMS system.
- Ability to work in a teamoriented environment.
- Ability to lead others through example coaching and development.
- Experience with EAM or comparable CMMS is preferred.
- AutoCAD experience is preferred.
- Planning training or experience preferred
