Job Description
What can you expect from us Your area of responsibility:
To strengthen our engineering team we are currently looking for a process engineer onsite for our coating systems at the Alphen a/d Rijn location.
- As a process engineer you will face the challenge of ensuring that our coating systems at the Alphen plant which are equipped with modern technology achieve optimal performance.
- In this way you guarantee the smooth production of our PVC films / selfadhesive materials and actively participate in the continuous development of our safety and manufacturing processes including through process analyses.
- You work across teams and in cooperation with other locations in order to specifically identify opportunities for improvement in terms of safety productivity quality and costs and implement them directly in independent project work.
- You will skillfully address problems with our systems with quick solutions and create improved machine performance through technical adjustments.
Qualifications :
What do we expect from you Your qualifications:
- Studies preferably in the field of mechanical engineering process engineering chemical engineering or plastics technology (TU) or similar training
- Professional experience preferable 3 years) in a manufacturing company background
- Practical knowledge of lean tools and continuous improvement processes as well as a high level of safety awareness
- Project management based on Lean / Six Sigma methods
- Analytical skills
- Data technical skills building dashboards
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English
- Creativity and enthusiasm for innovation entrepreneurial thinking to build sustainable projects and start your career at Avery Dennison
