The Total Rewards Associate is responsible for coordinating and administering benefits programs with a primary focus on the retirement plans leaves disability and life insurance. Through close collaboration with the Total Rewards team HR technology payroll teams and HR Partners this role coordinates total rewards program activity to ensure programs are delivered with high quality and provide an exceptional associate experience.
YOUR ROLE:
- Administer daytoday operations of the companys 401(k) leave of absence disability and life insurance plans including leave tracking disability payments annual testing audits 401(k) funding and regulatory/tax filings.
- Partner with external plan administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit transactions efficiently triaging and resolving issues and fostering a positive associate experience.
- Ensure adherence to policies procedures and regulatory requirements while providing customerfocused support to HR and associates across all Total Rewards programs and processes creating a cohesive experience.
- Investigate and resolve any data transmission between the HR information system and external plan administrator systems.
- Collaborate with HR payroll HR technology and external plan administrators to ensure leaves disability and 401(k) deferrals and loans are correctly reflected in payroll and benefits systems.
- Audit data and thirdparty administrator transactions regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements including FMLA ADA state leave laws etc.
- Support implementation of new benefit plans and/or programs as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities utilizing our lean tools to prioritize leverage technology and streamline business processes.
- Educate HR team and associates on retirement and leave programs and procedures.
- Support developing coordinating and delivering total rewards communication materials.
Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or equivalent with 24 years of relevant experience or a bachelors degree in a businessrelated field preferred with one year of relevant experience.
- High level of confidentiality including the protection of personal health information and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on detail
- Experience handling routine to complex inquiries
- Strong technical skillset with experience in different systems including HR information systems (Workday preferred)
- Strong analytical organizational and project management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work on various projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
