Be Part of Positive Outcomes for Young People
Were looking for a Youth Development Coach to join our team at The Foyer Malvernsupporting young people aged 1625 including care leavers. Youll play a vital role in helping them overcome challenges develop life skills and take confident steps toward independence.
Youll offer both emotional and practical support whether thats helping someone build a life skills plan navigate a tough conversation or signposting them to local mental health education or housing services when extra help is needed. Youll never be doing it alone youll work alongside a supportive team and a wider network of professionals to make sure every young person gets the right help at the right time. Youll ensure our young people arent navigating challenges alone whilst they feel safe respected and empowered where they live.
The role includes having a strong understanding of safeguarding and being able to identify when someone might be at risk as well as recognising and addressing issues early always with a supportive restorative approach.
Youll work closely with internal teams and external services to make sureour young people feel safe respected and empowered where they live.
This is a parttime role 25.75 hours per week) working a mix of day and evening shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Shifts typically run from 8:30am to 5:30pm or 5:00pm to midnight plus 7 sleepins per month with 5506 annual sleepin allowance.

Youll be part of a buddy system from day one andwith regular check ins with your manager
Lone working procedures are in place and regularly reviewed. Your safety and wellbeing is not compromised
Full PPE is provided when needed
Our outofhours support team is available
About You
Youll be someone who genuinely wants to support young people in building brighter more independent futures. With a calm confident approach and a caring nature youll bring positivity and purpose to each interaction.
You dont need to come from a youthspecific background if youve worked in housing care or support roles youll already have valuable skills that transfer well. What matters most is that youre resilient committed and ready to make a difference.
Youll also have good digital skills and youll be confident keeping accurate records writing reports and communicating effectively both face to face and in writing.
Youll also have;
an understanding of safeguarding and antisocial behaviors
Youll know how to set and maintain strong professional boundaries
Youll bring a kind proactive attitude and build trust with the young people you support
Drivers License and access to a car is preferred however there is some flexibility on this
Due to our commitment to safeguarding an Enhanced DBS will be required.
