Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Makati Philippines. As a key member of our Test Engineering department you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of highquality software products through the design development and implementation of automated testing solutions.

Your key tasks 

• Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using industrystandard tools and best practices
• Design implement and execute automated test cases for web mobile and API testing
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the team
• Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in test automation
• Contribute to the development of testing strategies aligned with project goals and timelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation
• At least 3 years of experience in using different test automation tools (Cypress Selenium Appium)      
• Proven expertise in building and designing automated test frameworks from the ground up
• High proficiency in programming languages such as Java JavaScript Typescript
• Handson experience with test automation tools like Cypress Appium and Jest
• Has knowledge of Unix/Linux environment with shell scripting
• Has experience with design patterns and OO design as applied to test code and frameworks
• Adept in Test Automation Principles and Frameworks (at least 3 from JUnit TestNG Mocha Jasmine Karma JBehave Serenity BDD Gradle Maven Node)
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git
• Has API testing experience (with preference on Jest and Postman)    
• Preferably has background on Static Code Analysis (SonarQube as a tool)         
• Preferably has experience on Microservices architecture (Containerization Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with proficiency in English
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including functional regression etc.

It would be a real bonus if you have (max. 3 bullet points)

• ISTQB certification is a plus
