Job Description
The AGI team is responsibly advancing Amazons generative AI technologies including the companys most expansive multimodal foundation models.
As a Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in design development test and deployment of innovative systems that can collect and process data within a smart and passionate multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a candidate that will have an established a strong technical ability great communication skills and a motivation to achieve results in a fastpaced environment. You will collaborate closely with a team of Applied Scientists with expertise in specialized areas such as Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.
Key job responsibilities
We are looking for passionate hardworking and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative mission critical high volume applications that customers love. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design architecture and implementation of cutting edge products used every day by people you know.
Responsible for development and maintenance of core modules and services.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
Will work with scientists and software engineers to evaluate technical feasibility investigate design approaches and prototype and develop new technology.
About the team
The team is focused on agent capabilities to delight consumer and enterprise customers with practical AI solutions.
5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
