Job Description

Neuberger Berman is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven professional to join our Production Compensation Team within the Finance group. This is a highimpact role where you will oversee the endtoend compensation process for our Global Institutional and Intermediary sales teams while driving innovation efficiency and insights that support firms financial planning. This role requires close collaboration with various groups including Payroll Client Billing Fund Admin HCM Business Partners Client Coverage Management and Technology to ensure seamless of sales compensation process. This role also offers the opportunity to leverage your analytical and technical expertise to influence decisionmaking and spearhead continuous improvements in workflows and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Process: Ensure timely accurate and efficient processing of monthly quarterly and annual compensation calculations for productionbased teams; review and distribute detailed compensation statements to sales teams

  • ProblemSolve with Precision: Perform rootcause analysis for payout variances and deliver clear datadriven explanations to Client Coverage Management teams

  • Deliver Insights: Conduct compensation trend analysis and forecasts to senior management

  • Financial Oversight: Manage compensation expense entries into the general ledger including P&L impact and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with HCM Technology and Client Coverage Management to implement compensation plans accurately and resolve issues effectively

  • Drive Innovation: Lead the design testing and implementation of technology enhancements to optimize compensation processes

  • Enhance Efficiency: Identify and implement process and data improvements to increase scalability accuracy and efficiency across workflows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 710 years of experience in accounting financial reporting and analysis.

  • Experience with commissionbased compensation is required

  • Asset Management/Investment Advisory industry expertise is preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential; knowledge of SAP is a plus

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to communicate clearly to senior management and other key stakeholders

  • Exceptional attention to detail organizational skills and problemsolving abilities

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a highprofile fastpaced environment

  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to a variety of initiatives

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $115000$150000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location business sector performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics market benchmarking data any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus which along with base salary and retirement contributions is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance 401(k) life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
