POSITION SUMMARY:
The Summer Camp Counselors working directly under the Summer Camp Director has provides supervision to Summer Camp students.
SCHEDULE: July 1st July 25th (No camp July 4th
(MondayFriday: 8:45am 12:00pm)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides daily leadership and supervision to programs to meet program needs for the summer term.
- Assists in the organization and administration of the summer camp program.
- Assists in the distribution collection and storage of all supplies and materials at the beginning and completion of the program.
- Adheres to the adopted policies and procedures of the Bellingham School Committee.
SKILLS/ABILITY:
- Preferably experience and familiarity with camp group assignment topic.
- Ability to get along with ones colleagues the public as well as the ability to interact with all age levels.
- Assumes other general related responsibilities as may be assigned.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES and/or DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working with elementary age students.
SALARY: $25/hour
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to move about the classroom and can bend sit or stand frequently.
REPORTS TO: Summer Camp Director
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Summer Camp Students and Camp Aides
