The Role:
- Ensure Financial Accuracy: Oversee monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Maintain Compliance: Adhere to GAAP standards and local state and federal regulations ensuring auditready records with no exceptions.
- Drive Strategic Planning: Lead budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to align financial goals with company objectives.
- Optimize Processes: Manage accounting operations (A/R A/P GL payroll) and streamline systems using ERP software.
- Mitigate Risks: Develop internal controls conduct risk assessments and oversee insurance programs to protect company assets.
What You Bring:
- Proven Expertise: 5 years in senior financial roles preferably in construction or related industries. CPA/CMA preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in GAAP project accounting and ERP platforms (e.g. Aspire Sage). Advanced Excel/Office 365 mastery.
- Structured Mindset: Exceptional organizational skills ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Collaborative Spirit: Positive attitude with a track record of crossdepartmental teamwork and compliance collaboration with HR.
