Role Description & Required/Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Linux system internals access control models package and service management and log analysis.
Technical skill and knowledge in various technologies tools procedures and programming languages used by development and operations and the willingness to learn new topics quickly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of container security and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
MUST HAVE:
- Strong Linux knowledge. Experience working with Linux systems including system management and troubleshooting.
- Access control & security: Understanding of user permissions authentication methods and system security.
- Containerization tools: Handson experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- System monitoring & log analysis: Ability to monitor system performance and analyze logs to detect and resolve issues.
- Automation & scripting Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash Python for automating tasks.
- Security awareness Knowledge of best practices for securing systems and containers.
- CI/CD knowledge: Basic understanding of continuous integration and deployment processes.
