CFP is currently accepting applications for an experienced full timehourly Maintenance Mechanic with Electrical experienceto cover the 1st shift weekend Friday Saturday and Sunday 5AM5PM.
Summary:
Under supervision performs mid to expert level mechanical repair and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturers manuals diagrams sketches etc. Electrical and systems troubleshooting a bonus.
Maintenance Mechanic Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follows all safety related policies rules regulations technical instructions and guidelines.
- Performs mid to expert level breakfix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of the issue.
- Identifies and sources parts supplies and repair items as necessary.
- Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
- Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assists with the water treatment preventative maintenance and general upkeep.
- Drives and participates in OFI activities processes results and cost savings.
- Background in welding a plus.
- Basic electrical experience.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). All combinations of education and experience are evaluated during the screening process.
- 2 years experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to work as team player and stay selfmotivated.
- Basic skills in welding with Tig Mig and Stick Welders
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- Must provide own basic handtools including wrenches and socket sets up to 1 and equivalent metric sizes.
