Job Description

Transportation:Driving students to and from school and to other activities like field trips and sporting events
Safety:Ensuring the safety of students including helping students with disabilities get on and off the bus
Discipline:Maintaining order and discipline on the bus and reporting disciplinary issues to the school district and parents
Vehicle maintenance:Conducting daily inspections of the bus reporting mechanical issues and keeping the bus clean
Driving:Following traffic laws and adhering to a schedule
Communication:Communicating with students and other staff via twoway radio
Reporting:Completing reports on mileage passenger counts and incidents
Training:Attending safety meetings and driver training programs
