Job Description
Does playing a key role in the launch of new Amazon products such as Echo and Alexaenabled devices Fire TVs Kindle eReaders and Fire Tablets around the globe sound exciting
The Device Software and Services team is recruiting a Senior UX designer to drive the design of our nextgeneration crossplatform UX experience system for Amazon customers. You will lead the creation of the principles rules patterns UI components and aesthetic style of the Amazon Device experience. From earlystage concepts all the way through final delivery and launch youll work closely with product management engineering and executive leadership across Amazon Devices and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to be a critical part of the innovation we deliver to delight our customers.
Key job responsibilities
Understand our brands goals and business goals to create our product/service personality
Ensure the UX system supports measurable business requirements and goals
Incorporate market analysis customer feedback technical constraints and usability findings into design
Quickly and iteratively create interaction flows wireframes and visual design mockups throughout the design process
Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications
Present design work to UX Product and Engineering teams as well as stakeholders and executive leadership
Collaborate with designers in partner Amazon teams and beyond on common UX systems design including developer portals
A day in the life
Whiteboard design with PMs and Engineers discuss new studies results and iterate on new designs with the product team drew crossexperiences models with other services teams. Present your conclusion to the leadership and make history.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
