Job Description
Athletic ActivitiesManagement
General Requirements
- Assist with the coordination and approval of summer programs camps and clinics ensuring that they meet organization and/or KHSAA regulations
- Assist the Athletic Director in seeking partnerships with local and regional businesses to continually increase financial and other types of support for high school teams.
- Conduct both preseason and postseason individual meetings withathletics stakeholders to discuss roles and responsibilities as well as their needs for support.
- Assist the Athletic Director in scheduling practices and events and ensuring that facilities are properly reserved via the districts management system.
- Assist in managing athletics inventory and advise administration regarding any need for facility or equipment upgrade or replacement.
- Attend meetings and practices on a regular basis and provide coaching and support.
- Coordinate and communicate with LHS and district staff to ensure facilities are safe and properly prepared for events.
- Research relevant topics for the school and athletics department.
- Assistwith student supervision during the school day as necessary.
- Assist the athletics director and/or school administration as needed.
- Mediate any student/parent concerns that may arise.
- Work with Signature Move teams to coordinate organize and communicate homeroom activities and plans.
- Other duties as assigned.
