Job Description
Join the CentraCare team as a Certified Medical Assistant at our Weight Management Clinic located at River Campus located on the south side of the St Cloud Hospital.
Were seeking a dedicated and compassionate CMA to join our awardwinning team specializing in the treatment of obesity. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with this complex condition. Our team focuses on providing a culture of unity and patient experience with 3 of the highest patient experience clinicians in the nation.
The CMA will work in a teambased setting where everyones opinion matters with responsibilities involving direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and clinicians. You will develop long term patient relationships and share joy in their accomplishments and celebrations as they hit milestones throughout their journey. Weight Management is a unique area there is shared medical appointments andsupport groups with lots of patient interaction. Schedule:
- Fulltime 80 hours every 2 weeks.
- 7:30am to 4pm MondayFriday or 6am4:30pm with Tuesdays off.
- No nights weekends or holidays.
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay $20.41 per hour; exact pay based on years of related experience.
- Pay range $20.20 to 30.30 per hour.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:
- Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
- American Medical Technologists (AMT).
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
- National Association for Health Professionals Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Ability to understand patients medical records physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
Hiring Bonus requirements: Must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away fromSt. Cloud MNandrelocate to within 30 miles within 120 days from start date.
