Job Details
- Interact with all levels of company team members and executives outside client representatives vendors and other businessrelated representatives to gain an understanding of business processes.
- Participate in complex audits in accordance with established audit procedures and standards.
- Conduct interviews gather supporting documentation perform testing and document observations during audit fieldwork in compliance with department standards.
- Execute a range of audit techniques including data analysis tools and procedures adapting audit strategies fieldwork approaches and evidencegathering techniques to test the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls to assess compliance with applicable internal policies laws or regulations.
- Identify control deficiencies or process inefficiencies that may result in risks or noncompliance along with related root causes and potential recommendations.
- Prepare clear concise and wellsupported workpapers documenting audit findings.
- Work closely with stakeholders in Internal Controls Operations Business Units and IT departments in resolving financial or operational control issues.
- Proactively keep Internal Audit management informed regarding the status of the audit challenges or opportunities encountered and potential findings.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to track the completion of agreed actions required to rectify audit issues identified during audits.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and actively participate in making the Internal Audit department a respected and valued partner within the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulatory changes emerging risks and best practices related to internal auditing.
- Assist with internal departmental projects as assigned (i.e. major Internal Audit initiatives Internal Audit related training).
- Willing to travel up to 20 of the time including international travel as needed.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- An undergraduate degree in accounting finance or a related business discipline is required.
- Two 2 year minimum applicable audit experience obtained from either internal audit or public accounting. Experience in pharmaceutical healthcare biotech is preferred.
- An active professional certification (e.g. CIA CPA ACA CIMA CISA CMA CFE) is preferred.
- Experience working with SAP systems and using data analytics and visualization software (e.g. Alteryx Power BI) is a plus.
MINIMUM SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated success in prioritizing and completing tasks recommending allocation or reallocation of work across engagement team members or stepping in to support as appropriate.
- Strong knowledge of risks process and controls across financial operational and compliance areas.
- Welldeveloped analytical interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Innovative out of the box thinker and adaptable to a changing environment.
- Comfortable with leadingedge audit and risk assessment methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SarbanesOxley (SOX) requirements.
- Ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions.
- Proficient in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.
