Join Amazons Global Transportation Services team as a Business Intelligence Engineer II and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our delivery network.
Key job responsibilities Develop and maintain dashboards using tools like Quicksight to visualize complex transportation data Create and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy and accessibility Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business needs into actionable insights Automate processes to improve efficiency and scalability of datadriven decision making Partner with scientists engineers product managers and program managers to build and productionize forecasting metrics; perform analysis to identify the root cause of issues and generate actionable insights to guide the appropriate solution Conduct deep dive investigations into operations and business problems identify opportunities and lead or support implementation
A day in the life You will typically engage in a variety of activities starting from sprint planning which will lead to analyses developing reports tools logic coding and driving projects with both tech and nontech stakeholders. You will participate in brainstorming sessions code reviews and analyzing results and may partake in higher visibility meetings to drive improvements and deliverables. This will all roll up to impacting the transportation network with tangible positive improvements for the customer.

3 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience Experience writing complex SQL queries Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with largescale complex datasets Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis
