Overview
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to support communications public relations and marketing goals of Childrens Mercy.

If you are selected for this position you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communications plans that inform educate and increase CM team members understanding and support of CMs People strategy priorities and initiatives.
- During times of crisis or when the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) is activated provide strategic counsel to executive leaders and hospital partners to drive the right content channel and cascade and timing of key messages.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications Integrated Marketing and other crossfunctional teams and individuals as needed to shape and deliver employeefocused communications that align with the organizations strategic goals and priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years experience Agency experience strongly recommended (or relevant corporate inhouse agency experience). Digital marketing and social media (content development organic/paid planning reporting/metrics) experience required. Nonprofit marketing or communications experience preferred or
- Masters Degree (Preferred)

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $29.54/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This is an intermittent remote position which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and onsite hours at a Childrens Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
