Job Description
Overview
Work as a team member with demonstrated experience in evaluating software for automation needs implementing automation test frameworks and writing automation test scripts. Must be selfmotivated with strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with development teams.
Responsibilities

- Assist with designing and developing a comprehensive automation test suite based on the business processes and needs of the client
- Maintain automation test scripts in response to updates in software requirements
- Stay current with automation tools and industry best practices
- Assist with coordinating of test scripts and documentation of test results in test logs or defect tracking systems
- Evaluate manual test cases for automation feasibility
- Assist with the and writing of manual test cases as needed in support of the software
- Track and communicate project testing status to key stakeholders throughout the development process
- With the assistance of the team lead ensure delivery of code and systems meet performance operational readiness and other nonfunctional requirements
- Execute test cases/activities analyze report track defects and report test metrics.
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
- Have excellent communication skills embrace learning and be a consummate problem solver.
- Demonstrated experience in Python programming in the context of test automation.
- Experience with Selenium for web automation including the ability to design and maintain robust test frameworks
- Experience with Pytest as a testing framework including writing and maintaining test scripts
- Basic understanding of modular programming principles and their application in test automation.
- Strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting test scripts and automated test scripts.
- Experience with SQL and XML.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Agile development process.
- Prior experience with PeopleSoft preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or relevant work experience
- 2 years of relevant business experience working in a software development government or Department of Defense environments
- 1 years of automation test experience
Clearance: A background investigation at the T3 level is as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Location: Work location will be in the Honolulu HI office 2 days onsite with a hybrid option.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands wrists and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
The Nakupuna Companies use a marketbased compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $70000.00 to $100000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
