TheDelaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) seeks to increase thenumber of applicants for clinical nursing positions by offering a recruitmentincentive to eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Nurse Consultant NursingSupervisor Compliance Nurse Registered Nurse Licensed Practical Nurse andCertified Nursing Assistant candidates in accordance with the DHSS Recruitmentand ReferralIncentiveProgram.
The program providesincentives as follows:
Recruitmentincentives will be paid in quarterly installments over the first year of hireand will begin after the first quarter of employment. New employees acceptingthis recruitment bonus must commit to two consecutive years of employment withDHSS. You must be a new employee to the state to be eligible for thisincentive.
Referralbonuses of $1000 are available to current DHSS employees who refer new hiresto the state in the following classifications: Advanced Practice Nurse NurseConsultant Nursing Supervisor Compliance Nurse Registered Nurse LicensedPractical Nurse and Certified Nursing bonuses of$1000 will be paid in quarterly installments over the first year of hire ofthe referred applicant.
NOTE:This program is administered by the Department of Health and Social program may be terminated by the State at any time.
