Description:
Provide ESY Special Education services for qualified students in a classroom small group tutoring and individual tutoring.
Requirements:
Current Oregon teaching license with Handicapped Learner or Special Education endorsement and experience with special needs students. Orton Gillingham trained. Ability to communicate with students and families.
Qualifications Desired:
Experience providing specially designed instruction to a widerange of special needs. Bilingual Spanish.
Classification/Location:
Licensed Temporary Parttime position at Edwards Elementary.ONLY INTERNAL APPLICANTS NEED APPLY.
Summer Work Days:
Part time 8:00am 3:30pm) for 16 days;Monday Thursday July 7 2025 through Julydays additional time for training. (Actual working hours may vary final schedule TBD at a later date).Paid Per Diem by timesheet in accordance with 202425 Salary Schedule. Newberg School Districtpays 6 PERScontribution provides a generous insurance cap longterm disability and life insurance.
