Saint Joseph Hospital Elgin is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Nursing Teams. We have FullTime positions available on all shifts. As our newLPN/LVN you will provide direct care that changes the lives of patients each day. You will be responsible for providing afull range of nursing carein an interdisciplinary environment including Care Planning Provision of Direct Patient Care Problem Solving Bedside Nursing Medication Administration and Treatments. Additionally you will be part of aclose collaborative Nursingteam. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and communicative because you will be involved with educating patients and patients family all along the way. Sound interesting... Qualifications
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
1. Current and valid state license
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Minimum one year experience in an applicable setting preferred.
4. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
5. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate preferred or within 60 days of hire
6. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) training within six 6 months of hire and maintain current.
Saint Joseph Hospital Elgin offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs.Our Total Rewards package includes but is not limited to paid time off a 401K retirement plan medical dental and vision coverage tuition reimbursement and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role which includes estimated wages benefits and other forms of compensation is $24.80 to $39.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
