The Central Flow (CF) Team is seeking a Manager to continue scaling an operationsfocused Business Intelligence team supporting centralized operations teams within CF. Central Flow is comprised of several verticals supporting NACF Fulfillment including OB Sortable NonSortable IXD Dock Floor Health and more. The BI Team within CF will work to shape network through the development and application of innovative labor & flow planning mechanisms and techniques. Our goal is to improve and enhance the Amazon Fulfillment network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and costefficient manner that is truly worldclass.
In this role you will lead a team of Business Intelligence engineers and analysts in leveraging various analytic and visualization techniques to support datadriven storytelling and look around corners to continuously raise the bar on our business insights capabilities. You will collaborate and build strong relationships with teams across CF to meet the current and future needs of the business through automation standardization and reporting. You will continually coach develop and mentor your team to achieve strong levels of performance and their personal development goals.
Key job responsibilities
Inspire and manage a talented Business Intelligence Engineering team to achieve its goals and development potential
Define and manage a longterm vision and portfolio of initiatives to improve the customer experience and business results through creating worldclass metrics analysis visualizations and datadriven storytelling.
Drive a Business Intelligence roadmap; prioritize business insight requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business
Collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand anticipate and respond to current and future information needs
Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics drive the vision and building of selfservice analytic capabilities and engineer datadriven processes that drive business value
5 years of business intelligence and analytics experience
5 years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team including employee development and performance management experience
Experience with SQL
Experience with ETL
Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
Experience with R Python Weka SAS Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
Bachelors degree in Mathematics Statistics Economics Engineering or a related business/analytical disciplines
4 years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
10 years of data warehouse technical architectures data modeling infrastructure components ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments data structures and handson SQL coding experience
7 years of business intelligence and analytics experience
