The Sr. Manager Solution EngineeringSLED leads a geographically dispersed team that partners with Business Sales to sell TMobile for Business products and services by leveraging their strong technical skills experience and industry knowledge. SEs engage in presales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to understand their business identify their challenges and develop solutions that meet their needs.

The Sr. Manager Solution Engineering SLED will lead architects and designs solutions provides technical support in sales presentations product demonstrations as well as providing answers to customers deep technical inquiries specifically in for the SLED/Government space. SEs further supports Business Sales by reviewing specific customer opportunities and sales funnels. SEs will keep the Government Sales teams they support appraised of relevant technologies and industry trends.

SLED SEs will maintain advanced level technical knowledge within a defined product set:
Telematics Private Networks IoT Fixed Wireless Collaboration Cloud UEM Security Partner Device and Application ecosystem certification and enablement.

SEs maintain their technical skills and industry expertise by participating in internal and external training opportunities. SEs also pursue and maintain partner or industry certification as required for their position.

The Sr. Manager Solution Engineering SLED is a technical leader with solid business acumen balancing knowledge of the Government space technical experience strategic thinking communication skills and leadership prowess to successfully build and coach a team that consistently delivers innovative and differentiated solutions for our TMobile for Business customers.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Presales Activities (including but not limited to) provide RFP technical input strategize with sales team to improve Regional/National sales own customer technical relationships understanding nuances and drivers design and architect services and solutions uncover opportunities and recommend solutions partners ability to review and demonstrate product roadmap to customers and sales team.
  • Engaged to for Executive Briefing Center presentations.
  • Identify and develop SEs industry leading talent in SLED opportunities.
  • Assist with Go to Market strategy with sales product and 3rd party vendors to include
  • 5G Advance Network/IoT Solutions supported deployment and sizing.

  • Assist with training technical documentation and development for the Solution
  • Engineering and Government Sales organizations.

  • Partner with Marketing Product Engineering Sales Ops and Care teams to provide
  • feedback support special projects and engage in marketlevel opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in Telecommunications or Cloud/SaaS leadership role.
  • Proven track record in building and developing successful teams in the
  • Government/SLED space.

  • Understanding of Government buying cycles and purchasing vehicles preferred
  • Success in solution sales managing internal/external relationships in a matrix
  • environment and technical strategy.

  • 2 years public cloud Private Network and/or IoT experience.
  • Bachelors degree Required MS/MBA Preferred
  • Presentation skills are required to convey design benefits to a wide range of audiences.
  • Proven ability work with crossfunctional teams; excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with both technical and nontechnical teams to define scope and
  • prioritize product requirements

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; bias toward making databased decision and
  • comfortable with analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $160700 $289800 inclusive of target incentives

Base Pay Range: $112490 $202860

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successfulcandidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications andexperience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. To find the pay range for this rolebased on hiring location TMobile employees in regular nontemporary Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
