Position Overview
This position will report directly to the Head of the London Middle Office with a primary focus on European regulations. We are looking for a datadriven diligent and astute individual who is eager to learn about derivative reporting and the regulatory reporting landscape. No prior regulatory experience is required but data analytical skills are preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for regulatory oversight and reconciliation.
- Handle regulatory inquiries both internal and external.
- Provide a range of internal metrics and reports.
- Collaborate with teams to automate existing tasks.
- Work with global middle offices to manage the downstream effects of trading actions on reporting.
- Participate in new regulatory reporting integration projects.
Key Requirements / Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in financial modeling or risk analysis.
- Basic understanding of regulatory reporting systems and processes.
- Fast learner with a passion for excellence.
- Strong team player with collaborative skills.
- Effective prioritization and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with risk mitigation skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics; knowledge of Python Power Query and SQL is preferred.
