Are you an experienced Industrial Painter Blaster with a passionfor delivering exceptional customer experiences Are you seeking arole where your technical skills can truly shine Look no further!RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT) a leading business unit within NRWHoldings is seeking a talented Industrial Painter Blaster to joinour team at our Bunbury Workshop on a fulltime basis.
As an Industrial Painter Blaster at RCRMT you will play acrucial role in ensuring the durability and protection of ourmining technologies. You will utilise your excellent painting andblasting skills to provide highquality and efficient services inindustrial surface preparation and coating.
Responsibilities:
- Perform surface preparation on steel or hard composition objects ensuring the removal of all contamination and achieving the specified finish
- Apply paint or similar coatings using spraying or brushing techniques
- Review painting specifications and comply with the required standards
- Blast to profile tolerances and specifications
- Take precise measurements when measuring blast profile
- Maintain accurate records of painting thickness including DFTs paint reports salt testing etc. as necessary
- Manage inventory of materials including paints and consumables and notify the supervisor of any shortages
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of machines and equipment
- Provide guidance and assistance to apprentices and trades assistants
Requirements:
- Local residency in the Southwest region
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Industrial Painting or Blasting OR Relative experience
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Work at Heights & Confined Space Tickets
- Dogging/Rigging certification (preferred but not essential)
- Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Physical fitness for manual labour and ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
- Strong commitment to safety and reliable work ethic
