Job Description
Middle School Art Teacher
The ASK Academy (Attitudes Skills and Knowledge) a 6 th 12th grade charter school in Rio Rancho New Mexico is a premier STEM school with a projectbased approach to teaching and learning and has been noted as the second best middle school in New Mexico by U.S. News and World Report. The 580 scholars follow one of two career pathwaysBiomedical Sciences or Engineering and Design.
The ASK Academy has entered its second decade and is searching for a Middle School Art Teacher.
Requirements include: NM teaching license teaching experience in middle school and the ability to teach photography is preferred.
A stipend is available for those endorsed in special education/gifted who carry a caseload.
The position is available for the school year. This is a benefitseligible position. Staff members children at The ASK Academy have preference in the schools student enrollment lottery. Applicants may submit a letter of interest and resume.
