Job Description

2528 hours (over 3 to 5 days) per week of instructional support for teachers support staff and learners. This position seeks to use the interns knowledge and skillsets. For example an intern with an ELA background will be used primarily to support ELA instructional and curricular needs at the school level aligning with the interns future certification. An individual with a math background would likely be used in a similar capacity but in the subject area of intern may substitute for a teacher coteach with a teacher work with small groups of learners analyze data or support the school in a variety of areas that are pertinent to the interns graduate level work. For individuals who are working with a specific cooperating teacher the internship will include an FPU required practicum with a certified School (FPU) MOU with JRCSD governs the conditions of employment.
