Job Description
Fontbonne The Early College of Boston is looking for a head varsity volleyball coach for thefall 20245 season. This position is responsible for coaching and providing direction andinstruction to student athletes so that they can achieve a high level of skill as well as anappreciation for discipline sportsmanship and teamwork. The coach will work under thesupervision of the Athletic Director in accordance with Fontbonnes core values. The responsibilities for this position include: responsible for heading the varsity program as well as overseeing the junior varsity teamand freshwomen team. coordinating tryouts practice planning game management fundraising and implementing youth programs Develop team and individual practice regimes for student athletes (e.g. strength speed agility nutritional injury prevention etc. Promote and encourage sportsmanship and team values at all times Develops game strategies/plans for the purpose of preparing the team and individual student athletes for the competition Ensure that all athletic activities conform to MIAA guidelines Other duties as assignedQualifications Prior coaching experience High school diploma or equivalent Have a valid drivers license be able to drive and qualify under Fontbonnes insurance carrier when driving a school vehicle
