Description

SafetyKleenis looking for a Sales and Service Route Driver (SSR)to join their safety conscious team in Fort McMurray!As an SSR you will not only be responsible for safely operating a box truck for daily waste pickup and delivery services at a variety of client sites but will also be required to upsell cross sell and generate new sales leads for SK products and services. You will drive our mission of sustainability by providing excellent service to our customers while promoting and delivering SafetyKleen products and services.

*Must reside local to Fort McMurray & have a valid Class 3 license*

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Driving Box truck to different customer sites picking up waste and dropping off to disposal facility.
  • Upselling products/ services generating new sales leads etc.
  • Moving barrel dollies etc.
  • Complete daily scheduled services deliveries and pickups in a timely manner.
  • Upselling/cross selling additional services
  • Complete all required documentation and labeling.
  • Work with route drivers to convert new sales opportunities.
  • Grow the current customer base with new lines of business.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes.
  • Prospect and convert leads to customers.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications
  • Class 3 license and operating experience required.
  • 2 years of B2B sales/customer service experience
  • Environmental/Hazardous waste experience highly preferred.
  • Tenacious assertive strong organizational skills and a hunter mentality.
  • Proven ability to develop a book of business.
  • Familiarity with CRM programs.
  • Ability to be on the road 34 days per week with potential for overnights as needed.
