The Division of Headache Medicine and Neuroophthalmology in the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah is seeking a BC Neurologist with expertise in complex headache disorders at the Associate Professor to Professor level (or equivalent experience) with consideration for being Division Chief. The Division consists of 7 faculty members with a diverse range of clinical and research interests. The candidate should be a nationally visible Headache Medicine expert. Preference is given to candidates who have significant extramural funding. The University of Utah Headache Clinic has served complex headache disorders with a multidisciplinary team for over 25 years. We have a dynamic and experienced multidisciplinary clinical team that serves a wide geographic area. Primary clinical responsibilities include headache clinic and teaching headache to other providers. This individual will also liaise with NeuroOphthalmology. While not required an interest in clinical research outcomes research and mechanistic research into headache disorders is desirable.
